Every Movement Starts with a Compelling Story

We begin every engagement with 3 questions:

  • What do you want to say?

  • Who do you want to hear it?

  • What do you want to come of it?

Answers to these questions will become the North Star to your podcast production and will guide the decisions that go into every episode for the life of your podcast. (no pressure!)

How the Jumpstart Works

Your organization has a unique story. Our expert story tellers at Larj will help get it into your clients, volunteers, or funders earbuds and onto their playlist.

  • Weeks 1 & 2

There’s a lot of work to be done before we hit the record button! In this phase we’ll start with your key message, do a deep dive on audience and a competitive analysis and settle on the name and format of your show.

  • Weeks 2 & 3

Next we’ll develop a content plan, and the workflow and timeline to produce your first 10 episodes. At the end of week three you’ll have a roadmap for a sustainable production.

  • Weeks 3-5

It’s time to hit record! Now that your roadmap is in place we’ll get into the studio (or capture sound in the field) and record. We’ll also provide coaching behind the mic for hosts and guests, and create the feel of your show with music - intro/outros and transition styles.

  • Weeks 5-6

In the final phase we’ll set you up with a strong publishing infrastructure, marketing strategy, metrics and launch plan. That’s all there is to it!

Bad podcasting is easy (I tried to go it alone before I met Larj), and great podcasting is hard. Highly recommend.

The Larj team got us up and running. We have a season under our belt and are plunging ahead.  It was a great way to leverage their expertise to build those skills internally.

The team is incredibly knowledgeable and capable and there’s someone to oversee each aspect: producer, editor, creative, sound engineer, etc. Soup to nuts, they took care of everything!
